Our Approach

What we do

At our core, we make sourcing simple.

We offer one of the widest ranges of Cable Ties in Europe, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of complementary products, including electrical connectors such as pre-insulated terminals, heat shrink tubing, cable management solutions, and a wide range of tapes for both retail and professional applications.

Our diverse range products are used widely across a variety of industries including electrical, automotive, industrial, and construction - where reliability is essential.

Today, we support over 3,000 active customers across the UK and Europe, including some of the largest and most reputable distributors in the market.

Scale You Can Depend On

We hold some of the largest stocks in Europe, including over 200 million standard nylon cable ties ready for immediate dispatch.

We consistently achieve a 98.4% order fill rate, ensuring our customers receive the products they need, when they need them.

This level of availability allows us to provide consistent supply, minimise lead times, and support our customers as they grow—without disruption.

Our History

  • 2007The Beginning

C Tie was founded from a small garage in Redhill, Surrey, starting with a small range of our standard cable tie lines and a clear focus on delivering value and reliability.
  • 2009First Warehouse Expansion

Following strong early growth, we moved into our first industrial unit in Salfords. This allowed us to significantly expand both our product range and stock holding to meet rising customer demand.
  • 2012Establishing Our Base in Horley

Continued growth and led to our move to Horley, near Gatwick Airport. Starting with a single unit of 2,500sq ft, we have since expanded across the industrial park and now occupy the majority of the site, significantly increasing our product offering and stock holding.
  • 2020Supporting Critical Supply Chains

During the COVID-19 pandemic, C Tie remained fully operational, supporting critical supply chains, including components used in ventilator manufacturing for key producers.
  • 2021Expansion into Tapes

Driven by strong service levels and reliability, and in response to growing demand for complementary products, we expanded our range to include tapes—introducing electrical, duct, masking, and foil tapes.
  • 2022New Sales Office

To support continued growth, we opened a new sales office, expanding our team across sales, customer support, and marketing functions.
  • 2024European Distribution Centre Opens

To better serve our growing European customer base, we opened a 20,000 sq ft distribution centre in Utrecht. This marked a major step in improving delivery times and increasing stock availability across Europe.
  • 2025Strengthening Our European Presence

We continued our expansion by growing our sales team with multilingual capability to better support regional markets across Europe.
  • NowToday & The Future

Today, C Tie operates around 50,000 sq ft of warehousing across the UK and Europe, supporting thousands of customers with fast, reliable supply at scale. Looking ahead, our vision is clear: To continue expanding our product range with complementary solutions, strengthen partnerships with leading brands, and enter new markets—establishing C Tie as a prominent global supplier of industrial components.
